Restorative justice training
Suffolk Youth Justice Service is able to offer training to schools, children's homes and other agencies looking for alternative ways to deal with offending / confrontational behaviour.
Working restoratively with people helps to build, maintain and repair relationships. At its heart is working “with” people, as opposed to doing things to or for them.
Our bespoke training packages in Restorative Practice cover the five principles, identify the key values and skills that underpin all restorative work and how to use the restorative practice in your own communities / working environments.
The courses aim to strengthen the skills needed to build and sustain positive relationships by addressing conflict in a more positive way and encouraging staff to think about their responses to challenging behaviour and conflict.
